Our Story
It all started back in the 1990s when a young farmer in Minnesota bought some old farmland and tried to feed his family with food that he grew himself.
He just wanted what most people want: a good life with clean food for his children. Instead, he was frustrated by soil that had been stripped of life by a long history of over farming and chemical herbicide, pesticide, and fertilizer use.
His frustration led him to develop ways to rehabilitate the earth naturally. After years of reading, mentorship, and endless trial and error, this young farmer refined methods of stewarding the earth that heal the damage done by generations of mistreatment, and restore full-spectrum life and vitality to the soil.
Environotics was started in 2009, built on the backbone of this young farmer’s hard work.
Rather than accepting depleted soil as permanent, one farmer began searching for a better way.
